The Yellow Drum Project

This new project aims to utilize our experience in biodegradable waste management in order to reduce biodegradable wastes sent to landfills. We aim to accomplish this goal by diverting waste away from landfills to our composting facility in Binugao, Toril through this project. These long months of quarantine have encouraged us to think more about the waste that is produced by households such as kitchen waste or other compostable solid wastes that some households might not be prepared to compost on their own.

The project takes its name from the 60L capacity yellow drums we currently use to collect biodegradable waste from our clients. Subscribers to the project will be provided with yellow drums in which they can store their biodegradable wastes and have them collected by our delivery and collection team. To incentivize prospective subscribers, we will also provide freebies in the form of the subscribers choice of one of our products (Dr. Bo’s Bio Fertilizer 2kg, Dr. Bo’s Enriched Potting Mix 10kg, or Dr. Bo’s Compost Starter 10kg). A freebie will be provided for every three yellow drums collected.
